In response to customer feedback, we will now offer prescription lenses! We have had so many enquiries asking for this service, that we had to address the obvious demand in the market.



Previously, we suggested that customers have their prescription lenses fitted by your local optician ( and we still do ) but for those who would like their new frames shipped ready-to-rock straight out of the box - we're here to help!

When purchasing your frames via the website, you will now have the option to choose between standard sunglasses and a pair furbished with bespoke lenses made to your opticians specification.  If you wish to have the prescription fitted by Edwards Eyewear please choose the appropriate option from the "Lens Options" dropdown menu. (see image above )

During checkout, we will ask you to confirm which type of lenses that you ordering and that if you're requesting prescription or standard. ( see below )

After you place your order, please visit the Contact Us page to upload your written opticians details. We suggest that any prescription be given in the last 12 months to ensure accuracy and longevity. 

We will then contact you to advise on additional costs to furbish lenses made to your specification and advise how to pay those fees. Please note that we cannot start work on your lenses until the surcharge is paid in full. Please note, prescription fees are non-refundable.

Prescription lenses start around £120. This includes a hard coating and anti reflection coating with a two year manufacturers warranty as standard. All of our frames can be fitted with prescription lenses by ourselves or your local opticians at a later date.
