You shoot through spring and summer ( or bright winter days with snow ) and regularly find yourself squinting into hard, bright skies. Your targets are flying against a glare-heavy backdrop whether that's a blazing blue above a high tower or light bouncing off a reservoir, snow or hard ground during a game day. You find yourself reaching for sunglasses on the drive to the shoot, and wishing you had proper shooting eyewear that matched the intensity of the day.

In practical terms: full sun conditions typically mean:

• Bright spring and summer days with little or no cloud cover
• Clays being driven across a hard blue or hazy white sky
• Driven game and walked-up shooting on open moorland or farmland in clear weather
• Sporting layouts with high towers presenting targets against direct or near-direct sunlight
• Environments where glare from wet ground, open water or pale crops creates additional eye strain
