We offer complimentary free shipping worldwide on all frames purchased from our website.
Your brand new frames will be with you typically within 3-7 working days.
Our couriers are Royal Mail, Parcel Force and DHL.
We insure your purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.
If you have specified a recipient for delivery purposes other than yourself (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment Edwards Eyewear, and transfer of responsibility in the same way.
On receipt of your goods, please check that the number of boxes received matches the documentation and that the package is not damaged, wet or tampered with in any way. If you do notice anything unusual about your order please notify usimmediately by email to xxxx stating the nature of the problem.
TAXES & DUTIES
All customers purchasing in the UK will be charged VAT. For all purchases that are delivered outside the UK we do not include any VAT or local import charges. The purchaser is responsible for any additional charges that may be required at the request of their local import and customs governing body.
Please note, unfortunately we have no control over such charges, nor are we able to predict these possible additional charges. If you do require any further information regarding these charges, please contact your local customs office before placing your order.
WARRANTY AND RETURNS
Edwards Eyewear is pleased to offer a 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects, on all our products. Please note that damage caused by misuse or as a result of reasonable or normal wear and tear are not covered by this guarantee.
All of our products are checked and packed by hand but in the unlikely event that you find your product to be faulty, please contact us immediately by email to XXXX and our Customer Care team will respond within 48 hours.
If it the frame cannot be repaired or the same product is not available, you are entitled to a full refund i.e the purchase price and original delivery charges.
All customers can return Handmade In Italy products within 14 days from the date you receive them. Simply email XXXfor a returns label and drop your parcel off at your local post office, making sure everything is in its original condition including packaging. Don’t forget to keep hold of your proof of postage receipt. Edwards Eyewear do no accept any responsibility for any returned products lost in transit.
Once we have received and checked your item(s), we will issue your refund via your original payment method within 10 days
We are unable to accept any returns where the product has been damaged or an element of packaging is missing.
Prescription eyewear or bespoke products cannot be returned.
We are committed to delivering the highest quality in our prescription lenses.
All eyewear must be paid for in full prior to purchase. As these are custom bespoke products a “cooling off” period of 24 hours after the sending of the initial order applies.
No refunds or exchanges can be given after this time as the manufacturing process will have commenced.
All prescriptions and measurements issued by a third party are considered to be accurate and as such incidences of non-tolerances are deemed to be the responsibility of the purchaser and/or the supplier of the prescription details.
Ed Lyons will happily assess and recheck any prescriptions if this does arise – standard consultation fees apply.
Lens tints may vary slightly when compared to the plano shields and prescriptions of different thickness may take up the colours differently.
